Jonathan Gaber is an abstract artist specializing in painting and mixed media.
It is such a pleasure to play with colors and patterns. Each morning, when I wake up, my head is spinning with new ideas. These thoughts are drawn up and put in my ideas journal for future work. Each piece builds on previous efforts as my taste, style and technique are constantly evolving.
I get immense enjoyment from viewing works of art whether it be visiting museums, galleries or auction houses in-person or online. I also take inspiration from my extensive travels. Time spent wandering city streets or as a cyclist making a mental note of the details of streets, people and colors as they shift and blur when I pass. I never know where I will find my next inspiration but this is my "art education."
Creating art gives me tremendous fulfillment. I hope other people will share in my journey.
